Sese and Taha discuss issues entry permits Darfur

In a meeting at the Presidential Palace with the first vice-president Ali Osman Mohamed Taha, Dr. Tijani Sese, raised issued concerning government permits for organizations to enter Darfur. According to Sese, Head of the Darfur Regional Authority, the issues are obstacles to the implementation of the peace agreement signed between the government and the Liberation and Justice Movement. After his meeting at the Presidential Palace on Wednesday, 26 December, he told reporters that Taha had promised to take steps towards resolving the issues. The government permits for organizations to enter Darfur and the government’s non-payment of the amount of $200 million, to establish a reconstruction fund for the province according to the Doha document.
