Police station attacked by armed herders, C Darfur

A number of armed herders have allegedly attacked the police headquarters at Bendessey camp in Central Darfur.  A witness told Radio Dabanga that a group of armed herders has attacked the police headquarters at Bendessey camp on Monday evening, 24 December. The men fired heavily in the air and released camels from a guarded cage for protecting the crops.He added that a police force travelling in two cars clashed with a group of armed herders on the same day after the incident and pointed out that the police had arrested a number of the alleged perpetrators.
