Man killed in Central Darfur, relatives chase perpetrators

A man was shot dead in Bindisi locality in Central Darfur on Thursday evening for unknown reasons.

A man was shot dead in Bindisi locality in Central Darfur on Thursday evening.

Three gunmen opened fire on Koran teacher Mohamed Adam when he was on his way from Bindisi, where he visited the market, to his village in the area of Weilan. He died on the spot.

A witness told Radio Dabanga that the relatives of Adam decided to trace the tracks of the perpetrators. “On motorcycles and horses, they followed the attackers to Tango, west of Bindisi.”

There they surrounded the neighbourhood from Friday 7am and continued their search of the offenders for one hour, and left without finding them.
