Camp activist murdered in Central Darfur

A resident of the Khamsa Degaig camp for the displaced, Zalingei locality in Central Darfur, was killed on Sunday. Speaking to Radio Dabanga, the coordinator of the Central Darfur camps for the displaced, reported that two “government-backed gunmen” raided the shelter of camp activist Musa Ismail Idris Abdel Karim (32) in the Khamsa Degaig camp at about 2:30am on Sunday. When he resisted, they shot him twice in the head. Abdel Karim died instantly.
