On Tuesday the security services arrested three students of Zalingei University in Central Darfur. The university administration expelled 19 students on charges of affiliation to the United Popular Front of Abdel Wahid El Nur.

A student told Radio Dabanga that on Tuesday, agents of the security forces arrested three students at the university gate. They initially took them to the headquarters of the university guards and then to an unknown destination.

A number of students recounted that they were surprised on Monday by the presence at the university gate of a force of security services, the police and student followers of the National Congress Party.
