White Nile citizens voice support to Darfur, resentment of NCP

Residents of White Nile State directed a message of support to the refugees and displaced people of Darfur and all the residents of the province who were affected by the war. In the message, the residents of central Sudan affirmed that they know of the atrocities being committed in Darfur and they are closely following the situation. They called on the victims, wherever they are, to be patient and advised the factions to unite.

A resident of White Nile who called Radio Dabanga called on president Omar Al Bashir and his regime to step down from power and hand it to the people, blaming the president for the injustice and deterioration of the living conditions in Sudan and the secession of the south. He warned that the continuation of the regime will result in losing other parts of Sudan besides the south. The caller also invited all the Sudanese to work hand in hand to bring down the regime and stressed on the fairness of the cause and demands of the people of Darfur.
