One of the injured persons told Radio Dabanga that some members of the group were riding vehicles while others were on horses and camels. “They surrounded the market in Abou Dilek and opened heavy fire. They then looted and robbed all the property of the citizens. They took money and mobile phones,” the witness told.The group allegedly attacked Mandy village on its way to Kelemendou locality. One civilian was killed and another injured in the attacks. The group was also accused of robbing around 80 camels from Mandy.
