‘Three dead in dawn attack’ on Central Darfur village

Two villagers and one gunman have reportedly died during an armed attack in the Wadi Credo area in Central Darfur on Thursday. Mohamed Hassan, known as Baillo, and Zakaria Daoud Mohamed, were killed when a group of gunmen launched an attack on their village, seven kilometres east of Mukjar, at 5am on Thursday. One of the attackers was also shot dead during the incident. Witnesses told Radio Dabanga that the police “rushed to the scene”. They transported the bodies of the dead to Mukjar.
