Students protest in Sudan capital

A group of students of the University of Khartoum staged a protest on Sunday afternoon against the deterioration of services in the dormitories.
The demonstrators blocked El Jumhuriya and El Baladiya streets, two main roads in downtown Khartoum.
They chanted slogans as “The people want to overthrow the regime”, “Leave, leave Al Bashir”, and “Justice, peace, freedom, and revolution is what the people want”.
Security forces intervened used tear gas and batons to disperse the demonstrators.
