The administrators of Bahri University in the Sudanese capital Khartoum have dismissed two students, suspended two more, and given two others a ‘final warning’ for speaking out against the administration.

One of the students told Radio Dabanga that on Sunday, the university administration issued a decision whereby it dismissed students Tajuldin Saeed of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Asamoil El Ghali El Nur of the Faculty of Social Studies. Mansur Muhammad of the Faculty of Law and Saleh Mudawi of the Faculty of Agriculture have both been suspended for two years.

The student said that also the university administration issued a final warning to two other students.

He said that the dismissed and suspended students addressed a protest against the administration preventing unregistered students from entering the campus two weeks ago.
