South Sudan accuses Sudan of launching air strikes

South Sudan’s military spokesman Philip Aguer, said the Sudan Armed Forces bombed the border area of Jau in Unity state on Monday. Speaking to the AFP agency, Aguer said an Antonov plane launched strikes on the area of Jau, wounding four soldiers. This incident occurred after Khartoum and Juba signed a non-aggression pact on Friday in Addis Ababa, to respect the sovereignty of each nation, and refrain from launching such attacks to avoid a return to war.
