Dr. Ghazi Salah Eldin, presidential advisor on the Darfur file, asserted that Dr. Tijani Sese, the head of the Liberation and Justice Movement (LJM) will not be appointed as the vice-president of the Republic nor to the post of chief presidential assistant which was left vacant. Ghazi’s confirmations came as a response to the recurent question of whether Sese will be appointed as the republic’s vice-president. In an interview published by the Alyai Alam daily newspaper, Ghazi said that Sese will not appointed as vice-president, and that should one be appointed, he would be a member of the National Congress Party, a decision which is irrevocable.
