Road between Khartoum and Darfur unfinished, NCP requests money back

Emad Bushra, parliament member for the National Congress Party (NCP), requested that the Shiryan El Shimal company returns the money and rights it received to construct the Al Ingaz Algarbi Road. This road connects Khartoum and Darfur but gaps were found in different segments of it. According to Bushra, the money should be returned to Sudan’s Ministry of Roads and Bridges. This will enable the ministry to seek for other companies that can construct the Al Ingaz Algarbi, Nyala Al Fasher and Nyala Kass streets, segments of the Al Ingaz Algarbi Road. In addition, Shirian Al Shimal would provide 200 billion Sudanese pounds for charity projects in Darfur. These suggestions were denied by community leaders and participants of the conference.
