Rebels ‘capture garrison’ in Sudan’s Blue Nile state

The Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N) claims to have captured the garrison of Soda in Blue Nile State on Friday.

The spokesman for the Movement Arnu Ngutulu LodiArno Ngutulu Lodi said that the government forces and militias attacked, but the SPLM-N force forces responded and perused the attackers until the headquarters of the Soda garrison, which they seized.

Lodi said revealed that the government has sent intense military support to all the fighting axes in South Kordofan, as well as a delegation for the negotiations. He added that the Government sent two military convoys to Dlami and another to east of Kadugli, in order to target the rebel forces.
