Pro-regime students scuffle with university activists in Khartoum

Pro-regime students attacked and injured student activists in Khartoum yesterday. Thirteen students from the College of Agriculture and Engineering in the University of Sudan were wounded in the attacks by student supporters of the National Congress Party.

Pro-regime students attacked and injured student activists in Khartoum yesterday. Thirteen students from the College of Agriculture and Engineering in the University of Sudan were wounded in the attacks by student supporters of the National Congress Party. The victims were Darfuri students who were holding a forum on Wednesday. A student who is one of the top people in the Darfur Students’ Association told Radio Dabanga that they held strikes against the bad academic conditions, but were targeted by the students of the National Congress Party who beat up 13 of the students, with 3 of the 13 suffering from serious wounds.
