Nyala students end sit-in

Students at the University of Nyala ended a sit in on Wednesday that began yesterday, following a march on Monday to protest against the poor conditions on campus. A student activist told Radio Dabanga that the sit in ended after the university administration responded to their demands. After surveying the environment, particularly the student living quarters, the Dean decided that the complaints were valid and formed a committee to deal with the students’ needs.
