On Friday the armed gunmen released nine of them after beating them and confiscating their personal belongings. One of them managed to escape.

In a separate report, the house of Harun Adam Mohammed, in the IDP camp Hassa Heissa, was raided by a group of armed men on Wednesday. A sheikh of the camp tells Radio Dabanga the man was held at gunpoint whilst being robbed of 7 thousand Sudanese Pounds, beds, mattresses and a television. The assailants fled to an unknown destination.
