Journalist’s home in Darfur robbed

Robbers in the city of Nyala targeted the home of a newspaper correspondent. The home of journalist Abdelrahman Ibrahim was robbed in Hay Al Thura (‘revolution district’) in east Nyala on Tuesday. The perpetrators were three men including one who was armed. They looted goods, a mobile phone and a computer. Then they ran away.The correspondent was working for Al Sahafa newspaper. The incident was not releted to the arrest yesterday of another Al Sahafa correspondent in Khartoum. Radio Dabanga learnt of the incident from the journalist’s father, who recounted what happened.
