JEM captures two oil sites in South Kordofan

The Justice and Equality Movement has said it seized two oil sites South Kordofan while fighting with South Sudan continues in Heglig. JEM spokesman Jibril Adam Bilal told Radio Dabanga that the Sudan Revolutionary Front is determined to take over all of Sudan’s oil fields to deprive the National Congress Party benefitting from the oil. He said the Front made up of a coalition of opposition movements including JEM, the Sudan Liberation Movement Unity faction and the Liberation and Justice Movement drove government out of the two sites and seized 30 vehicles loaded with weapons, and seven trucks carrying arms.
