IDPs of Darfur’s Abu Shouk camp fear for life of detained leader

The residents of Abu Shouk displaced camp in North Darfur expressed fears for the life of Sheikh Abdel Al Ali Abdullah, the 52 years old leader of block 6 of the camp, who was detained by security authorities two months ago.  One of his relatives said they asked the security authorities, police, and UNAMID about his location. The IDPs asked the authorities to release him or allow him a fair trial. More than 100 students have dropped out of school due to his arrest.
