Female activists encourage women to accept Doha agreement

Female activists from Camp Scully, South Darfur, announced their support of the Doha agreement that was signed in Qatar’s capital last Thursday. Activist Hawa Salih Imam encouraged the other women to accept the text as well as the compensation, stating it would benefit them. She however stressed the need to disarm the Janjaweed and reconstruct villages, so that families can move back in, and also invited the remaining movements to sign the agreement, as only the Liberation and Justice Movement (LJM) has signed it so far.
