Farmer injured in West Darfur robbery

A group of 18 farmers of Murnei camp for the displaced were robbed on Tuesday. One of them sustained serious injuries.
Speaking to Radio Dabanga, a camp sheikh reported that gunmen mounted on camels and horses attacked the famers in the area of Tor on Tuesday evening.
“They were returning from their farmlandsto the camp when the robbers intercepted them. They beat them with sticks and whips. Ahmed Khater Abdallah received serious wounds to his head and legs,” he said. “The attackers then robbed them all and fled.”
