Darfur rebels consider security protocol in Doha
The mediation team at Doha handed the Justice and Equality Movement a paper on security arrangements, said Ahmed Hussein Adam, JEM spokesman. He told Radio Dabanga that the mediation proposed a ceasefire, but he pointed out that it was premature to talk about signing the agreement on security arrangements. On the other hand, JEM negotiator Tageldin Nyam told Radio Dabanga that that a security protocol is expected to be signed between JEM and the Liberation and Justice Movement by the middle of the month.
