Sudanese President: ‘Cut the throat of critics’

President Omar al Bashir has promised to cut the throat of anyone who tries to insult his government by suggesting that the elections in his country will not be fair and free. During a campaign in Al Gezira state he addressed a crowd saying: “Whoever tries to insult us we will cut off their neck and extend his tongue to abuse us. We will cut off his tongue.”
