Citizens clash with armed robbers in North Darfur

A man was killed and another wounded in a clash between a group of citizens and armed robbers in North Darfur on Sunday. One of the citizens reported to Radio Dabanga that “pro-government gunmen on camels and horses” stole a flock of sheep consisting of more than 100 heads in the area of Usta on Sunday. The villagers formed a “rescue team” that went after the thieves. They clashed with the gunmen in the area of Ab Sakeen in Kutum locality. The owner of the flock was killed, and Yahya Ismail Abdallah was injured. The “rescue team” managed to retrieve the sheep. File photo
