Bashir accuses Darfuri of fighting alongside Gadaffi

In a meeting with the Sudanese community in Doha, President Bashir said that his strategy for Darfur is based on the elimination of what he calls the remnants of armed movements first and the collection of weapons second. Regarding the ongoing negotiations in Doha, Bashir said that the aim of the negotiations is to produce an internationally recognized document that the people of Darfur will be invited to accept.

According to the BBC, Al-Bashir accused the armed movements in Darfur of fighting alongside the Gaddafi forces, in its war against the rebels in Libya. Al-Bashir said the Darfuri who are in Libya have all been armed and have become part of the Libyan forces.
