Agreement to end hositilities in Kutum and El-Waha

Both Kutum and El-Waha Localities in North Darfur signed an agreement to end hostilities on Saturday September 1. The agreement calls for ending all hostilities and violence following the recent violent incidents in Kutum. Second the agreement calls for the commitment of both parties to maintain peace, security and stability.It includes the obligation to cooperate with the investigation commission and commitment of both Localities and other involved parties to return all public properties and other stolen properties, if retrieved. The agreement asks both Localities to hand over perpetrators to the investigation commission.
