World Vision car ambushed in Darfur
A driver and one of the staff of the international aid organization World Vision were seriously injured on Tuesday when a car affiliated with the organization was ambushed by unknown gunmen who directed heavy fire at the car. The vehicle was on the way from Nyala to Menawashi when the ambush occurred. The wounded were rushed to a hospital in Nyala. Three other staff members in the car were unharmed. The aid organization has informed the humanitarian aid commission in South Darfur about the incident.
