World Refugee Day celebrated with unease by Darfuris in Chad The refugees of Darfur in camps in Eastern Chad celebrated the World Refugee Day yesterday and expressed their hopes of a peace settlement on Darfur soon. They say they want to return to their homes which they left because of the war. Other refugees expressed that their happiness is not complete because of news of continuous attacks in Darfur and South Kordofan. In an interview with Radio Dabanga aired Tuesday, the refugees complained of the terrible living conditions and urged international actors to offer more aid to them and focus on education and security, especially for women and children who suffer from sexual violence by armed militias.
