A woman was raped repeatedly and a man beaten comatose in a militia attack on a farm near Gallab, north of Tabit in North Darfur.
A woman was raped repeatedly and a man beaten comatose in a militia attack on a farm near Gallab, north of Tabit in North Darfur.
A relative of one of the victims told Radio Dabanga that the woman and man were working on a farm yesterday. They were approached by two militiamen at 2 pm, who beat Ibrahim Juma Ibrahim senseless, before alternately raping the woman at gunpoint.
The relative said that the family reported the incident to the police, “but they did not respond or pursue the perpetrators”.
