Woman killed by barrel bomb in Darfur’s Jebel Marra

A woman was killed in one of several air raids targeting Jebel Marra in Central Darfur today.
Multiple witnesses told Radio Dabanga from Jebel Marra that Antonov aircraft of the Sudanese Air Force bombed the areas of Saboun El Fagur and Sina in the southern part of the Jebel Marra massif this on Sunday morning.
Hawa Juma Adam was killed while working in her lemon tree orchard, they said. The bombardments killed large numbers of cattle, and caused major damage to the orchards.
Other sources reported that the areas near Tomi, Golol, and Soreng in western Jebel Marra were targeted as well. They said that also in these areas, a number of livestock were killed, and lemon and orange orchards were damaged, however they could not provide more details at this stage.
