West Darfur State warns ex-rebel movements to integrate forces

The State of West Darfur warned Darfuri movements that had signed peace agreements with the government to complete the security arrangements, especially the integration of forces. The state governor Jaafar Abdel-Hakim called on all such movements in the state to either complete those measures or leave the state altogether.

The state governor Jaafar Abdel-Hakim called on all such movements in the state to either complete those measures or leave the state altogether.According to a source who spoke to Radio Dabanga from West Darfur, the warning is aimed mainly at the movements of Minni Minawi and Abu Al Gasim Imam.

Sources in West Darfur said that they witnessed large numbers of military reinforcements moving toward Jebel Marra, including dozens of trucks. They were coming from El Geneina and Zalingei.
