Unamid confirms employee missing in North Darfur

An employee of the UN-African Union Mission In Darfur (Unamid) has been missing in El Fasher, North Darfur, since 11 March. Christopher Cycmanick, acting spokesman for Unamid, confirmed to Radio Dabanga on Tuesday that the mission, “in coordination and with the support of local authorities, is making all possible efforts to locate the missing person”. He provided no further information at this time and requested the media to “exercise due diligence”.
