Two killed in Darfur armed robbery

Two people were killed and a 14-year-old boy was wounded in an armed robbery in the north of South Darfur on Saturday.

Witnesses told Radio Dabanga that gunmen on camels opened fire on a group of people who returned to Keila after shopping in El Malam.
Ibrahim Ishag and Abdelrasoul Abdallah were killed instantly, Mohamed Ibrahim was wounded.

Two people were killed and a 14-year-old boy was wounded in an armed robbery in the north of South Darfur on Saturday.

Witnesses told Radio Dabanga that gunmen on camels opened fire on a group of people who returned to Keila after shopping in El Malam.

Ibrahim Ishag and Abdelrasoul Abdallah were killed instantly, Mohamed Ibrahim was wounded.

The witnesses said that a local rescue team of army soldiers and police arrested five of the alleged perpetrators. They were transferred to El Malam Prison on Sunday.

South Kordofan

Four armed men stormed lawyer Saleh Eisa Tiya’s house in Hajar El Mak district in Kadugli, South Kordofan, on Sunday night.

Lawyer Bilal Kalomni told Radio Dabanga that the four gunmen stole money and a motorcycle at gunpoint, before escaping.

A complaint has been filed with the Kadugli police.
