Two killed by SAF bombing in S Kordofan

About nine in the morning, Antonov aircrafts belonging to the Sudanese Air Force bombed the area,” a witness said.He added that the shelling led to the death of 14-year old Younan Ibrahim Ashafar and an 18-year-old girl named Khameez Port Sudan Tutu in addition to the deaths of four cows.“I would like to appeal to the international community and humanitarian organizations to stop the air strikes on civilians,” a citizen of Um Duren told Radio Dabanga.Villages surround Um Doreen attackedOn the other hand, citizens from east, central and west Um Doreen said that their villages had been exposed to air strikes on Thursday morning.Karkarrai, Tangil, Lobu, Tubola, Alhat Mur, Dal Dako were the villages that came under attack.A citizen told Radio Dabanga that these areas were bombed by the government aircraft at five in the morning, which led to the exodus of citizens to the mountains in search of safety.South Kordofan has seen a surge in air strikes by the SAF since June this year.

Two citizens were killed in a Sudanese Air Force (SAF) bombing in South Kordofan’s Um Doreen locality on Thursday.

“The losses caused by the recent bombardment haven’t yet been fully accounted. The attack came as a surprise. About nine in the morning, Antonov aircrafts belonging to the Sudanese Air Force bombed the area,” a witness said.

Villages surround Um Doreen attacked

On the other hand, citizens from east, central and west Um Doreen said that their villages had been exposed to air strikes on Thursday morning.

Karkarrai, Tangil, Lobu, Tubola, Alhat Mur, Dal Dako were the villages that came under attack.

A citizen told Radio Dabanga that these areas were bombed by the government aircraft at five in the morning, which led to the exodus of citizens to the mountains in search of safety.

South Kordofan has seen a surge in air strikes by the SAF since June this year.
