Two farmers injured by herders in Central Darfur

Herders opened fire on two farmers tending their crops in Mukjar locality of Central Darfur on 11 November. Both were injured.Witnesses in Dambo Kabde, 7km east of Mukjar town, said herders on camels tried to release their livestock onto the farmlands of El Tayeb Mohamed Omar and Maryam Mohamed Suleiman at about 5pm.The farmers were shot as they tried to dirive the animals off. Both were transferred to Mukjar hospital. A complaint has been lodged with the police of Mukjar.
