Two die in Central Darfur on Sunday

Two men were shot dead in two separate cases in Central Darfur localities on Sunday. Idris Haroun Abdel Salam, aged 22, was killed by unidentified gunmen in his house at El Thoriya district in Zalingei town on Sunday night. A number of citizens has described the security conditions in Zalingei as ‘very bad’, as they don’t feel secure at their houses, stores, or streets. A displaced man living in Khor Ramla camp in Nierteti locality was also shot dead by militiamen. An other displaced person got injured, named Mohamad Abdallah Ishag. A witness told Radio Dabanga that a militia member opened fire at about 6 pm on Ahmed Dihesh Mohamed and killed him on the spot. Mohamed had been on his way from Nierteti town to Khor Ramla.
