Three people hurt in shooting in W. Darfur’s Kebkabiya town

Gunmen in Kebkabiya last night seriously injured a youth in the head. Isaac Adam Mohamed, a student at Kebkabiya Secondary School, was fired at by unidentified gunmen on a city street.A witness told Radio Dabanga that the gunmen who opened fire were returning from the wedding of the Captain of the Border Guards Al Taj Mohamed Ahmed Dualbet. They were randomly firing bullets, which wounded two others in the Emira West neighborhood.

One of the victims was wounded in his right foot and the other in the stomach. The source added that the student, aged 20 years old, needed to be transferred to a hospital in El Fasher for extraction of shrapnel from his head, but he could not be transferred due to lack of means of transport.
