Three killed for phones in Nyala, South Darfur

Three people were shot dead in the South Darfur capital of Nyala on Saturday.
Speaking to Radio Dabanga, a listener reported that three gunmen “fired a barrage of bullets” at Ahmed El Tijani, Abdel Majed Suleiman, and Abubakar Mousa in Nyala’s El Salam district on Saturday evening. They died instantly.
The gunmen wanted to steal their mobile phones, he said.
Maj. Gen. Ahmed Osman, head of the Nyala police, told reporters that two of the murderers were arrested on Sunday morning.
