12 tea sellers were held in Hag Abdallah, El Gezira South locality, on Sunday, on charges of not wearing stockings.
“At 8 am, the women were taken to the police station,” a listener reported to Radio Dabanga from Hag Abdallah.
“Six hours later, they were brought before a judge of the Hag Abdallah Court. The judge, however, postponed the hearing session to Thursday, because the complainants did not turn up,” he said.
