‘Sudanese miners detained in Algeria’: MP

Algeria has detained six Sudanese mine workers for over a month, reported an official in North Darfur.

Algeria has detained six Sudanese mine workers for over a month, reported an official in North Darfur.

Adam Yousif Mohamed Nureldin, a Member of Parliament of the constituency of El Fasher rural area, said that one of his relatives and five others were detained by Algerian authorities that have confiscated their vehicle. His relative is named Ibrahim Abdallah Ahmed Ishag.

“They were fined and accused of exercising political and security activities on the border,” the MP reported.
