Sudanese citizens protest in Cairo detention of Darfuri Activist

Sudanese citizens and Darfuri refugees rallied in front of the UN High Commissioner for refugees in Cairo yesterday in solidarity with the Darfuri activist, Moneim Suleiman Atron, arrested in Cairo on May 6. Atron is thought to have been deported to Sudan along with a number of other Darfuri activists. The protestors held picutures of Atron calling for his release and handed over a memorandum to the refugee agency.
