Antonov aircraft of the Sudanese Air Force have carried out air raids on a Jebel Marra village that is devoid of inhabitants after the entire population fled.

The Antonovs repeatedly bombed Fori village near Khazan Tunjor in East Jebel Marra

Farmers from the area told Radio Dabanga that air raids have been ongoing over eastern and southern Jebel Marra, and loud explosions were heard on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Callers wondered about the reason behind the intensive bombardment on secure areas such as Fori. All the inhabitants have already fled and only a few goats were killed, they said.
