The fuel and bread crisis in Khartoum and other major cities in Sudan continues despite the government’s repeated promises to find solution.

A large number of fuel stations have seen long queues of vehicles waiting for scarce diesel.

Khartoum has witnessed a continued bread crisis, where dozens of residents lined-up in front of bakeries in search of bread while many other bakery owners have closed their bakeries.

A resident in Khartoum told Radio Dabanga that the fuel crisis has caused a traffic crisis in the capital.

A resident from Khartoum added to Radio Dabanga that most of the public vehicles spend time queuing at the fuel stations.

As reported by Radio Dabanga yesterday, the fuel crisis in Khartoum has entered its second week without any sign of a solution; diesel is especially scarce in the capital city.
