Sudan becomes member of International Youth Federation

Sudan has gained permanent membership of the International Youth Federation (IYF), its Executive Board announced on Tuesday.
In a press statement, the IYF Board says: “Our vision at the International Youth Federation is to enable the youth to get their voices heard. Giving talented and motivated young people the opportunity to acquire the skills and knowledge to actively contribute to the development of their societies.”
Youth activist Omar Naji will be the Federation’s representative in Sudan. The economist worked in communication, coordination, advocacy and events management with many national, and international organisations, the press statement reads.
“The Sudanese youth is ambitious and talented in various fields, and I hope that the International Youth Federation contributes to refine and develop these talents and capabilities toward a better future for Sudan,” he said.
