Sudan army movements reported west of Jebel Marra

A Sudanese military convoy headed toward Khor Ramla, where the URFF rebel chief was killed in battle earlier this week.According to eyewitnesses interviewed by Radio Dabanga, about 32 military vehicle belonging to the army spent the night in the area of El Kasara near Nertiti west of Jebel Marra and yesterday morning went north to Khor Ramla.One source said the troops returned again to Um Haraz headed toward northwest of Jebel Marra on the road to Kabkabiya to track down some gunmen. The source said that he heard the sound of heavy weapons yesterday morning in the region.
