SLM Field Commanders withdraw from Doha

The group of Sudan Liberation Movement (SLM) field commanders withdrew from the Doha negotiations. Ibrahim Adarop, spokesperson of the field commanders told Radio Dabanga that they asked the mediation for a span of time for further consultations with the IDPs and refugees but the mediators refused.

The group of Sudan Liberation Movement (SLM) field commanders withdrew from the Doha negotiations. Ibrahim Adarop, spokesperson of the field commanders told Radio Dabanga that they asked the mediation for a span of time for further consultations with the IDPs and refugees but the mediators refused. He added that they will not come back to Doha and would not be part of any agreement concluded with the Liberation and Justice Movement (LJM). Last week ten factions merged in this new movement. Before they were part of  the Addis Ababa road map.
