Six men, officials, abducted in remote South Darfur area

Four unidentified gunmen abducted six people in Rehed Al Berdi Locality in South Darfur last Wednesday. Their whereabouts is unknown.

Four unidentified gunmen abducted six people in Rehed Al Berdi Locality in South Darfur last Wednesday. Their whereabouts is unknown. Hamad Hussain, an MP from the locality, said that the abductees are: Mohamed Al Sanusi, the locality’s director of education; Abubakr Ali Adam, director of the commissioner’s office; Hamid Al Nil, the bodyguard of the commissioner; Hussein Ali Al Tahir, a reporter at the local radio station; Fadl Al Din, a driver; and another person.

Hamad Hussain said that the abduction occurred in Galing area in the evening.
