Safiya village plagued by violent crime: residents

The citizens of Safiya village west of Abu Ajoura in El Salam district in South Darfur complained of night robberies and thefts at gunpoint. One of the witnesses told Radio Dabanga that they face robbery on the road and inside their houses on a daily basis by armed groups in addition to having those groups wandering around the markets with their weapons in broad daylight.
