Separate robberies in Mukjar, Deleig and Gireida in Darfur have resulted in the killing of a displaced woman and injuries among the victims.

Maryam Adam Ibrahim was stabbed to death in Mukjar, Central Darfur, on Wednesday night by an unidentified armed man, a displaced person in the camp reported to Radio Dabanga. He complained about the continuous exposure to robbers who wear military uniforms at night in the camp.

Herdsmen attacked Sheikh Abbas Jarallenbi Ishag in Central Darfur's Deleig locality with axes and sticks. One of his relatives said that both his hands were broken and that Ishag has deep cuts on his head. The Sheikh had attempted to prevent the herdsmen from entering cattle on his farm in Andi, east of Deleig.

Gunmen injured a man in his house when they robbed him of an amount of money and his mobile phone in Gireida, South Darfur, on Thursday morning. The robbers were armed and opened fire on Mohamed Ali Hamadi upon entering his house.

Displaced people of Donki Abyed camp near Hashaba, west of Gireida, were severely beaten and robbed of their phones and SDG100 ($16.30).
